S.O.S

S.O.S is a tribute to the sea. The film takes a poetic approach, weaving together striking visuals and spoken word to draw viewers into the ocean's beauty — before confronting them with the stark realities of water pollution in the South West.

A locally cast, mixed-media project, S.O.S was shot across digital, underwater, and Super 8mm formats. The blend of textures reflects the fragility and depth of its subject, mirroring the ocean itself.

I loved working on this project, combining my love of the sea with my love of filmmaking, and was recognised with the NAHEMI Award for Best Environmental Messaging.
